In 2002 we published our first book The Whimsical Bakehouse - Fun to Make Cakes that Taste as Good as They Look. This fun, colorful, and approachable book is packed with Kaye's delicious recipes and an introduction to Liv's Chocolate Method among other decorating techniques. In 2004 our second book, Christmas Cookies from the Whimsical Bakehouse was released. Our third book Little Cakes from the Whimsical Bakehouse is due out in spring 2008. Clarkson Potter, a subdivision of Random House, published our books.

The mother-daughter team and authors of the The Whimsical Bakehouse now present 60 fabulous new recipes for little decorated cakes and cheesecakes, bundts, cupcakes and more-all in fresh flavor combinations (like caramel cake with Dulce de Leche buttercream or spicy chocolate cake with cinnamon-chocolate whipped cream). This comprehensive introduction to baking in miniature also provides tips on glazing, icing, and making chocolate decorations and offers details on the equipment you need to get started (including a cake pan chart, so that you can use those mini rose pans, heart pans, and other fun shapes to bake unique creations).
